Everything we get asked most — what RITE™ is, how it helps at work and in everyday relationships, how it's different from a generic AI assistant, how it works, and what your HR, legal, and IT teams need to know.
About RITE™
What is RITE™?
RITE™ is a conversation coaching companion for anyone preparing for a conversation that matters — at work or in life. It walks you through accountability, feedback, performance, conflict, customer service, change, engagement, and personal/family conversations using the RITE framework: Respectful, Intentional, Truthful, Empathetic.
Who is it for?
Anyone who has to walk into a conversation where the words matter. At work: supervisors, managers, team leaders, HR professionals, project leaders, department heads, and organizational leaders. In everyday life: parents, partners, friends, and family members navigating high-stakes personal conversations where understanding human behavior can build trust and preserve the relationship.
When should I use it?
Before the conversation. RITE™ is designed for just-in-time preparation — the 10 minutes before a 1:1, the morning of a difficult feedback meeting, the hour before a change announcement, or the quiet moment before a hard conversation with a partner, teenager, or friend.
How is this different from ChatGPT or a Copilot email audit?
We get this question a lot. The short answer: RITE™ coaches you for the actual conversation you need to have — spoken, written, or somewhere in between — instead of just generating or auditing a message for you.
Doesn't ChatGPT already do this?
ChatGPT writes content for you. RITE™ prepares you to communicate for yourself. Most of the hardest moments — at work and in life — are live: a meeting, a 1:1, a phone call, a hallway moment. But the same preparation also makes your written follow-ups stronger, because once you've drafted your plan in RITE™ you can deliver it spoken, or convert it to an email, text, or message with one click. A general chatbot can produce a script; it does not coach the human who has to deliver it, and it does not help you read the behavior of the person on the other side.
How is RITE™ different from a Copilot email audit tool?
Copilot and similar tools audit written messages you have already drafted or sent. RITE™ works upstream — before the conversation happens — and is built for the moments where tone, sequence, and the other person's response cannot be undone. The output is yours to use however the situation calls for it: speak it in the meeting, send it as an email, drop it into a text, or paste it into a chat. Same preparation, multiple channels.
Isn't this just an LLM behind a friendly UI?
No. RITE™ is grounded in the RITE framework — Respectful, Intentional, Truthful, Empathetic — developed through the Menifield & Associates leadership & HR practice, drawing on 35+ years of executive leadership experience and certifications in human behavior. The coaching follows that methodology rather than whatever pattern a general model defaults to, so the guidance is consistent with how HR, L&D, and human-behavior practitioners actually evaluate communication — at work and in personal relationships.
Won't using AI make leaders dependent on it?
Generic assistants encourage offloading the thinking. RITE™ deliberately walks the user through the preparation so they get better at conversations over time — building the human skill of understanding behavior and communicating with intent. The goal is capability, not dependency, whether the conversation is with an employee, a customer, a partner, or a family member.
What about privacy?
RITE™ is a private preparation space — not an inbox scanner and not a model trainer. Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, are not used to train foundation models, and organizational reporting — Leadership Communication Intelligence (LCI), our aggregated view of how leaders across an organization are preparing for high-stakes conversations — is de-identified by design. See the Trust & Enterprise FAQ for the full data posture.
Why not just send everyone to an annual workshop?
Workshops are valuable, but they happen on a calendar — not when the conversation does. RITE™ meets the leader at the moment of need: the 10 minutes before the meeting, on their phone, with the specifics of this person and this situation.
How it works
What do I actually do in RITE™?
You describe the situation and what you intend to accomplish. RITE™ coaches you through the RITE framework, surfaces what to consider, and helps you tweak your approach until you feel ready. You can speak your input by voice or type it.
Does it write a script for me?
RITE™ produces coaching guidance and suggested language — but the goal is to prepare you, not to script you. The most effective leaders take the guidance and make it their own.
Can I come back and refine a conversation later?
Yes. Your prepared conversations are saved to your account so you can revisit, tweak, and reflect after the conversation happens.
Pricing & accounts
Is there a free plan?
Yes. New accounts can prepare a limited number of conversations for free. See the Pricing page for current plans and organizational options.
Do you offer team and enterprise plans?
Yes — including pilot programs and Leadership Communication Intelligence (LCI) reporting for organizations. LCI is our aggregated, de-identified view of how leaders across your organization are preparing for high-stakes conversations — surfacing patterns and coaching opportunities without exposing individual content. See RITE™ for Organizations.
Enterprise, legal, and security
If an employee issue becomes a lawsuit, would the organization be required to produce coached conversations?
Possibly — the same way emails, chat messages, or prep notes can be subject to discovery if relevant. RITE™ does not change the legal standard; it follows your existing retention and legal hold policies. In practice, a thoughtfully prepared conversation tends to reduce risk rather than create it. Full answer in the Trust & Enterprise FAQ.
Who owns the conversation content?
Individual users own their own conversations. Enterprise workspaces extend ownership to the organization with admin controls. See the Trust & Enterprise FAQ.
Can we get a DPA, security questionnaire, or a walkthrough for our legal/IT team?
Yes. Contact our team and we will share our standard DPA and complete your security review.
